My photographs document how photography becomes a means for sharing emotional experiences. This is an attempt to communicate emotions through photographs. I photographed feelings, which arise from people, new places, unusual lighting or extraordinary moments. I want to make other people co-participants in these emotions through pictures. For me, if that happens, photo is a success and if photo is a success, then process of taking pictures is a process of seeking and finding oneself.”
Oscar Diaz hat einen Kalender entwickelt der sich im Laufe der Zeit mit Tinte vollsaugt und dadurch den aktuellen Tag anzeigt:
“Ink Calendar make use of the timed pace of the ink spreading on the paper to indicate time. The ink is absorbed slowly, and the numbers in the calendar are ‘printed ‘ daily. One a day, they are filled with ink until the end of the month. The calendar enhances the perception of time passing and not only signaling it. The aim of the project is to address our senses, rather than the logical and conscious brain.”
Neues Video von Passion Pit. Etwas verwunderlich das nach dem Hype um The Reeling mit To Kingdom Come dann doch auf eine Nummer gesetzt wird die so in eine ganz andere Richtung geht.
Nach zweimaligen Hören bin ich mit der Nummer noch nicht ganz warm geworden, aber mal abwarten, dieser einlullende Refrain und Keyboard haben Potential sich zu einem ausgewachsenen Ohrwurm zu entwickeln.
Solch Neo Soul wie ihn Raphael Saadiq macht höre ich mir ja am liebsten beim Putzen an. Das soll jetzt keineswegs abwerten klingen. Solche Art von Pop macht aber einfach die bittersten Dinge zuckersüß.

So schnell ganz gehen, aber mir solls recht sein. Ach und übrigens Liebe EMI, Promos im Briefkasten finde ich natürlich auch ganz klasse.
Das würde Goffman gefalllen: Fantastische Serie von Erwin Wurm. Takt bemerkt man halt fast immer nur wenn er fehlt.
